Saw this a couple of days ago, but just got to posting today. HBO produced a documentary called, ” The Get By – Making it on the streets of NYC”.
Dope cinematography and these skaters speak the TRUTH. Billy Rohan, Gino, Dr. Z, Fred Gall, Jake Johnson, Todd Jordon, Pops, J. Strickland, 5Boro’s Steve Rodriguez, Tolentino, Strobeck, Quim, Jahmal Williams and others talk about NYC and it’s unique and influential skate culture. This should be a requirement video for all the riders hitting up companies for sponsorship. Sit back, relax = the vids about 20 minutes long and well worth it.
